wow, i really gotta start posting more often. my bad folks. i was in NY for a weekend, at a tailgate that was absolutely nuts the weekend before, so needless to say i haven't had a lot of time to post. no excuses though, play like a champion! so to make up for my absence, i bring you a track that bumps so hard... it bumps sooo hard that... well it just bumps really hard dammit! anyways, it's another remix of a Major Lazer jam, and it gets more crunk than this jem i posted a few weeks back. i present to you Tony Junior's remix of Major Lazer's "Get Free"

i'm gonna step out of my norm a little bit on this one, but trust me, it's worth it. this song isn't the newest song i've ever posted, nor is the most likely to be bumpin in the club (although maybe it should be), but it is daaamn good. i honestly don't know where to begin, so i'll just start blabbering: The Weeknd. i know what you're probably thinking (mainly because i'm the only one who reads this, so "you" is actually "me"), "what?! two posts in two days?! i must be dreaming!" well you're not dreaming. i came across this song last night and i had to share. it's "Simon Says" by The Vandal Squad (yes, it's a remix of the classic Pharoahe Monch jam), and it is absolutely filthy. like, Pig-Pen of Peanuts fame couldn't even touch this. enjoy!

so here's another little trapstep diddy i'd like to share with you all. it's RL Grime's remix of Kanye's "Mercy", and just like RL Grime's name would indicate, it is dirty. If you've never checked out RL Grime and you're into the whole trapstep scene, then you really should look into his work. to start, here's a link to one of his original pieces, "Flood", but make sure you have some free time, because i will promise you won't b able to stop with just that.

ok, so i know i just posted about Macklemore yesterday, but i can't help but post again. call it extenuating circumstances. anyways, i just found out that Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are comin to ATL. Nov. 8th. Masquerade. imma be there. it's gonna be sick. so to honor the occasion, here's another one of my fav Macklemore songs (great song and even greater message). it's called "Same Love" and it is a powerful song:

Inaugural Post

so here it is, my first post. i spent all night tweaking the design of this thing, and i didn't want to leave without posting anything. so i guess i'll start with a simple introduction. this blog is just a place for me to post things i like. any and all things. music, food, places, women, etc. if you don't like it, i honestly don't care. if you do, i still really don't care all that much, but i appreciate it. so hopefully i'll be posting some quality stuff on here soon (assuming i can figure this blog thing out), but until then, godspeed, and goodnight.
